Welcome to 1st grade! First grade is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. This is a year of transitions in which your child will acquire many new skills in reading and math. This year your child will learn how to read, write stories, add, subtract and so much more! I hope to make your child’s learning experience a fun and exciting one along with instilling a love of learning which will be fostered throughout their lives.
