Fourth Grade Specials:
Monday: Spanish & Band
Tuesday: Gym, Media Center/Library checkout
Wednesday: Music
Thursday: Gym & Media Center
Friday: Computer
Multiplication Facts:
Fourth graders are to master the multiplication facts 1 through 12. So they will
be ready for the division in the coming months. We will be focusing one times
table per week. There will be practice, review
and quiz in class every week. Please help your child’s practice at home.
Book Clubs:
You will receive Scholastic Book Club Catalog every month to look over. Book
ordering is optional. There are always some very good books available at a very
low price. Book orders are exciting to children, encourage reading, and are
certainly money well spent. Please return the order form before the deadline.
You may pay with cash or check. Checks should be made payable to the Scholastic
Book Clubs.
Absences:
Please call and inform the school office in the morning if your child is absent
that day.
When your child returns, please send a note to the teacher.
For extended absences, please send a note stating the dates your child will be
away.
Inform the office if communicable disease such as pink eye, chicken pox, head
lice etc. are involved.
Please refer the Handbook for more information.
Doctor Appointments:
Send a note that morning or the day before. Let us know the pickup time so we
can have your child ready.
Birthday Treats:
Birth day treats are optional. Please get permission from the teacher before you
bring any food treats. Cupcakes, cookies, brownies etc. are good choices and
easy to handle. Lunch time is our Birthday treat time.
