The Manna Program

The Manna Program is a fundraising/tuition credit program available to all families through the purchase of "gift certificates" for many retail stores. "Manna" is a large organization that purchases blocks of store certificates at face value and then sell them to schools. The discount comes from the retailers. After selling the certificates at face value, the school earns a profit and you earn fundraising credit! You can order "Manna" through school, the rectory, or at cash-carry times as advertised.

Gift cards are available for approximately 100 different retailers, both national and local. These stores sell the gift cards to the Manna program at a discount; the program then sells them to parishioners for their full value. The difference, or profit, is divided in half. Half of the profit goes directly to St. Walter School, and the other half is donated to the students of St. Walter or Catholic high schools to reduce tuition costs.

Manna certificates are sold every Sunday 9:30-10:30, every Market Day 9:30-10:30, and on Thursday evenings during the school year 6:00-7:00 p.m. Manna orders can be sent to school on Monday to be filled and returned in the brown envelope on Wednesday.

Participating in Manna is an easy way to reduce tuition costs and support St. Walter.
