Who am I?
Ms. Stacey Maher Pre-K Teacher
For those of you who do not know me yet, let me take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Stacey Maher. This will be my sixth year teaching preschool at Saint Walters and I am very excited to return for another fun filled year. I graduated from Saint Xavier University with a degree in early childhood education and I also have an A.A.S. in child care. I recently completed a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I’m the middle child in my family I have an older brother and younger sister. I am the happy aunt of my 4 yr. old Godson Patrick. I have a passion for teaching young children and believe it is my calling.

Mrs. Elizabeth Cardenas Pre-K Assistant
I’m excited to start the new school year! I would like to take the opportunity to let you know a little more about myself. My name is Elizabeth Cardenas. This will be my sixth year at Saint Walter School as the Pre-K assistant. I started my experience in the pre-k classroom first by volunteering time in my own children’s classrooms and then a year at Saint Stanislaus Preschool/Kindergarten. I have been happily married for sixteen years and have three children. I have two sons and a daughter ages 15, 12 and 10. When I’m not home with my family I am enjoying working in the pre-k classroom.

Ms. Linda Covarrubias Pre-K Assistant and Extended Day Aide
I’d like to take the opportunity to let you know a little more about myself. My name is Linda Covarrubias. This year I will join the preschoolers in the afternoon to assist Ms. Maher, and work with the preschool children. I also work in the extended day program. This will be my seventh year at Saint Walter School as the Pre-K assistant. I started my experience in the pre-k classroom, and helping in the office. I am the happy mother of Damian he is eight years old and is in the third grade. When I’m not home with my family I am attending classes at Moraine Valley.
